A welcome from Ric Cheadle
Welcome to the home page of Yelverton Community Projects - a local charity serving local residents. Established in 1998, the charity has gone from strength to strength and in 2012 was awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in recognition of the contribution it is making to the lives of local residents.
There are three 'arms' to the charity; Yelvercare, the Play Park and Yelverton Cinema and the links above give more information about each of these. All three have one important thing in common; they all completely depend on volunteers, whether providing transport, hosting the monthly lunch club, maintaining the play park or running the cinema.
Our volunteers give their time so those living in and around Yelverton get the most from our services. Please do make the most of what we have to offer and if you are able to help us by joining our band of volunteers, any time you can spare will ensure we are able to continue long in to the future.
